Concern Health Migrates to the Cloud To Enhance Mental Health Solutions

Challenge

Concern Health, a leading provider of mental wellbeing solutions, wanted to transform its digital engagement platform to streamline service connectivity and provide a curated, enhanced customer experience for improved use and a stronger market position.

Outcome

We supported Concern to migrate its platform to a new cloud-based architecture, modernise it and improve performance and scalability.

Concern, a tech-forward employee assistance program, offers innovative mental health solutions that help employees deal with everyday challenges. Its proprietary digital platform applies smart matching algorithms to match members with services that offer the right type and level of support for their current needs and acuity.  This encourages earlier intervention through counselling, coaching and life-balance resources. 

 

Concern sought a partner to help transform its digital wellbeing platform and harness technological advancements in cloud and artificial intelligence (AI) as part of its mission to improve access, choice and engagement in a safe and secure manner. The organisation turned to Endava for a product leadership team to help drive innovation and significantly enhance member service and support.

Collaboration for cloud expertise

Understanding Concern’s need for a flexible and adaptable long-term partner, our collaboration promoted rapid solutions, team cohesion and project efficiency. 

 

We began by performing a discovery process to fully understand the goals and delivered a robust roadmap. As a partner of AWS and a member of the AWS Migration Acceleration Program, we recommended AWS cloud services to Concern for:  

  • scalability and performance 
  • security and compliance with healthcare standards 
  • advanced analytics and AI capabilities 
  • reliability and high availability 

This led to us designing a new cloud-based architecture and migrating the digital platform and its data to AWS. This improved operational efficiency while enabling scalability and growth, without significant ongoing investment. Now equipped to support its expanding client base, Concern can continue to grow its position as a leader in mental wellbeing solutions.

Modernising the platform

In close collaboration with Concern, we worked to further improve its digital platform, rewriting and redesigning the application to:  

  • enable better interoperability and integration 
  • facilitate faster feature development  
  • improve performance and scalability 

These enhancements ensure that the organisation can maintain its infrastructure, mitigate technical liabilities and keep it in line with modern technology. Concern can now leverage advanced data analytics and AI to continuously improve user experience and responsiveness and quickly deploy new features
